COVERING ALL AREAS OF THE SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS & THE ISLE OF SKYE

In early November 2025, I contacted Davie Matheson of Caledon Site Solutions. I was looking for a groundworks company to implement the innovative and creative garden design provided by Maria Drozd of Golden Leaf Horticulture (GLH).

Davie responded promptly to my request for an estimate and visited my garden soon after. He was positive about the design and attentive to my requirements. We agreed to proceed on a time and materials basis. Davie then helped me to source the materials for edging the new paths (granite setts) and sourced himself the large stones which now surround the small water feature.

Within a short time of my first meeting with Davie, Janis one of Caledon Site Solutions’ employees, was working hard in my garden to deliver the design. Janis, with Davie’s continuing support, has been an absolute delight to work with. He was enthusiastic about the curved design of the new paths and put much thought into how he could best implement the design. He worked hard and took great care with how the resulting paths would fit in with what was already in the garden.

The transformation of my garden that Caledon Site Solutions have achieved, using the innovative design provided by GLH, has been remarkable. I’m so grateful to both Davie and Janis for their hard work on my behalf.

And I can’t wait until Maria and I can start implementing the planting plan contained in her garden design
